The Nicholas County High School-Based Council will have its next regular monthly meeting Tuesday evening, Jan-uary 18, at 6:00 in the school’s faculty lounge.

The next meeting of the Nicholas County Board of Education will be held Monday night, January 24, at 7:00 in the school district’s central office. The meeting was moved from the regularly scheduled third Monday of the month due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on January 17.

A field representative with the Kentucky Department of Veterans’ Affairs will be at the Nicholas County courthouse Tuesday afternoon, January 25, 1:00-3:00 to give counseling in filing for federal and state veterams’ benefits.
