All editorial copy, display advertising, photos and classified ads must be in The Nicholas Countian office by Tuesday noon of each week. 
Advertisers should check their ad the first time it runs. The Publisher shall not be liable for failure to publish an advertisement or for typographical errors, except to the cost of the ad for the first time insertion. The Publisher shall incur no liability for errors or misprints beyond cancellation of charges or publishing a correction in space equal to space occupied by the error. Any adjustment must be requested in writing within five days of publication of erroneous advertising.
The Publisher reserves the right to classify, cancel, edit or reject any editorial or advertising submitted, and to place the word “Advertisement” on any paid advertising. A photo release is required for advertisements featuring real persons.
The Advertiser assumes full responsibility for advertising content, and saves the Publisher harmless against any demands, claims or liability arising from the publication of advertising. The Advertiser shall reimburse the Publisher in settlement of claims or satisfaction ofjudgments obtained by reason of publication, together with all expenses incurred, including attorneys’ fees and other costs of litigation.
The Publisher is not liable for errors in copy submitted by telephone. Advertisers are invited to proof read advertisements prior to publication. Tear sheets are furnished to advertisers upon request.
Advertising is payable at the time of purchase, unless credit has been established with the Publisher. Classified, personal, political and “going out of business” advertising is accepted only with payment in advance. “Going out of business” advertisers must include state permit number.
Billing is at the end of each calendar month. Accounts outstanding more than 30 days are subject to a 1.5% monthly service charge. The publisher reserves the right to collect, in addition to any amount due, reasonable costs of collection, including attorneys’ fees and costs of litigation, on delinquent accounts.
